communication

Communication is a cornerstone value in my life. My principles, practices and paradigms around communication have been shaped by my education, specifically my B.A. in English and Journalism along with my M.A in Strategic Communication. I always consider our audience, the messages they are looking for and how to convey information in ways that honor their dignity, access and unique personalities.

newsletters

A robust and responsive email list can be a valuable resource! I can help build a content schedule that includes brief but informative newsletters that keep your audiences informed and engaged while providing internal benchmarks for programs.

digital content

It’s important to identify the goals for a program, and any ways that digital content can be used to achieve those goals. It could be developing a phone banking script, building a virtual training workshop, posting an application for an artist opportunity, or managing blog content… I love to help imagine the tools, opportunities and pathways to success for a program or team.

multimedia

Self proclaimed jill-of-all-trades, I can capture and edit photo and video, design social media graphics on Canva, and package PDFs like you wouldn’t believe. When working with clients, blog posts, newsletters and social media schedules always include a wide variety of media optimized for each platform.

program coordination

Confidently guide a program or project to success from design to proposal to implementation to final reporting. Administrative skills such as meeting scheduling, note taking, and task management help keep team members in alignment with program goals and guiding principals.

event planning

Being in community with others is one of life’s greatest gifts. Meaningful relationships can be built when artists and organizations can connect to audiences and community members. Whether it’s a gallery opening, running race, speaker series, annual fundraiser, open mic or virtual webinar, it helps to have someone who can coordinate between vendors, clients, artists, venues and participants to ensure a smooth and air-tight event.

writing

One of the best things they ever told me in college is that you can do anything with an English degree. Which is true; I can write proposals, event descriptions, social media captions, email blasts, community surveys, blog posts, power point presentation scripts, and/or handwritten thank yous.
