Merrit Club is an activity club centered on the values of solitude, love, simplicity, community, communication, care, moderation, action, humor, wellness, creativity, resolution and adventure.

Currently located at 3700 Clark Ave., in a garage space at the Hildebrandt Building.

  • come kick it in the garage! We’ll have some random supplies, but bring whatever you’re working on and enjoy some communal making time. Typically Sundays before Con Tu at Dunlaps.

    Sometimes there’s a write night, where we’ll enter a state of flow for an hour. This is a good space for writers to come and work on material, but people have brought zines, embroidery, research…

  • monthly accountability group, registration closed for 2026.

  • there are so many ways to get together! Sometimes there will be A Gathering of Stuff, or a performances at Envelop Fest, or a movie night, or a zine making day, or a dance party.
