Watching my friend’s husband cleaning out a glass microscope, he called it an extensive flushing process. Earlier, I happened to stop by a certain bar for the first time in about 9 months. (Service had gotten too shitty, and ABC treats us so good.) Ultimately, revisiting my old haunt was rewarding and hilarious. I got an extra shot of tequila and felt like a regular after all this time.
In an effort to curb a few habits, I decided to go to Planet Fitness instead of ABC at the end of the night. Didn’t feel the burn but definitely sweat more and spent less than I would have at the bar. Listened to my 2017 birthday playlist of songs to the following:

10 sets of banded lateral crab walks (8 each direction)/10 banded kettle bell swings. This is as a throwback to my KB class at Ohio State.
Five sets of 20 ‘barbell’ hip thrusts, 40lbs.
Hip abduction machine, 4 sets of 15 at 85lbs.
These machines are not on the regular floor, they are tucked back in the “don’t look at me” corner, facing the wall. Despite having to search everywhere for this damn machine, I appreciate it facing the wall. Especially at the Unique Planet Fitness at 11:00pm.
